Sharon Alkin

Sharon Alkin has been in the field of Early Childhood for over thirty years. She is a graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, with a degree in Education, and received her Early Childhood Education credential from Saddleback College. She was as a PreK teacher at Congregation B’nai Israel Child Development Center for seven years and was elevated to the role of director in 2016. Prior to moving to Orange County with her husband Jonathan, daughter Hayley, and son Joshua, she was the Director of Mishkon Tephilo Preschool in Venice Beach, California.  Sharon is passionate about young children, their early education, and Jewish heritage.

When she is not at school, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family and their four dogs, reading, and cooking.
