Sell Your Hametz
After cleaning the house for Passover, it is customary to sell off whatever remaining hametz (leavened products prohibited on Passover) you might have in your possession. To authorize Rabbi Adam to sell your hametz on your behalf, please fill out this form.

Women's Club Chocolate Seder

The Chocolate Seder hosted by CBI's Women's Club will be a special way to get ready for Passover, and reminds us that freedom is sweet. Women of all ages are welcome as we walk through the steps of the Seder, substituting sweets for the traditional Passover foods. (We encourage you to bring kids and grandkids to this event!) Your Seder Kit will include your very own CHOCOLATE Seder plate (~1lb of chocolate) and representative Seder plate symbols (which includes chocolate and other sweets). There will be a few other surprises as well!
Community 2nd Night Seders | April 13 at CBI
Seders are $70/adult, $50/child (4-12), 3 & under are free and includes a delicious, multi-course kosher for Passover dinner (that you don't have to cook or clean up after!)

6:00 pm CBI COMMUNITY TRADITIONAL SEDER led by Rabbi Adam & Cantor Amy in the Social Hall
Bring your family and friends for an engaging night of questions, song, discussion, food, and fun. Enjoy a meaningful and participatory Seder with all of the customs and traditions, led by your CBI clergy. All ages are welcome.

6:00 pm HARRY POTTER ALTERNATIVE SEDER led by Arie Katz in the Family Life Center
Mystery and Magic Await at the Second Night "Harry Potter Seder" at CBI! This spellbinding Passover event is shaping up to be the most magical Seder of the season, filled with wonder, enchantment, and just a pinch of Hogwarts intrigue. This Seder is designed to be especially enchanting for families with elementary & middle school aged kids - but all Muggles, wizards, and witches welcome. Space is very limited!
Note that Alternative Seder will join the Traditional Seder for the same delicious kosher dinner and the conclusion of the Seder all together!

Fast of the First Born Minyan & Siyum
There is a custom for the firstborn to fast on the day before Passover. One may end the fast early by participating in a "siyum" -- a celebration of the completion of the study of a text. All are welcome for morning minyan, followed by learning with Rabbi Adam.
